Optimist Club Plan to Distribute Town Theatre Profits
The Chillicothe Optimist Club has announced the following plan to distribute the net profits from its operation of the Town Theatre on an annual basis:
1. No later than the third Saturday in March of each year effective 2011 the Chillicothe Optimist Club will distribute its net profits to pre-qualified charitable, not-for-profit and tax supported entities for programs designed to exclusively benefit youth.
2. The distribution to each pre-qualified youth organization shall be based upon the number of movie ticket stubs turned in by each organization at the Kids Count Night to be scheduled after February 1 and no later than the third Saturday in March of each year effective 2011.
3. Pre-qualification to be eligible to receive a percentage of the profits of the Optimist Club’s operation of the Town Theatre is necessary to ensure that only not-for-profit programs designed to exclusively benefit youth are funded.
4. Pre-qualification will require the completion of an application available at www.chillicothetowntheatre.com or at the Town Theatre during normal business hours and the receipt by the Town Theatre staff of that properly completed application no later than February 1st of each year effective 2011.
